    Phlebotomy Technician
The
Phlebotomist is an integral member of the medical laboratory team whose primary function is the collection of blood samples from patients by venipuncture or micro-techniques. The phlebotomist facilitates the collection and transportation of laboratory specimens and is often the patients only contact with the medical laboratory. More Information>>
Nursing Aide I (NA -I)

    Nurse Aide II (NA-II) Program
In this program participants will review various approaches to advance nursing assistant procedures. The human body and its function will be addressed as it relates to the program content. The subject matter will include review of scope of practice for CNA II.

    Clinical Medical Assistants (CMA) Program
Medical assistants aid physicians by performing administrative duties and handling basic clinical tasks. They work in doctors' offices, hospitals, and medical clinics, helping to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently. The job description of a medical assistant varies from office to office. Clinical duties may include help doctors examine and treat patients.

Medication Administration/Med Aide Program
This program is designed to prepare the participant to meet the requirements of the Medication Aide Act and to assume the role and responsibilities of a Medication Aide. The training is intended for the Medication Aide in an assisted living facility, nursing facility, or intermediate care facility for the mentally retarded.

    Pharmacy Technician Program
This program provides the student with skills that are important in assisting the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medication. The student will be trained in medication order processing, inventories, compounding, packaging, use of a prescription balance. It graduates for certification as a Certified Pharmacy Technician.

Medical Billing and Coding Program
This program thoroughly prepares students to correctly code patients’ medical records and to optimize reimbursement for a full range of medical services. Students are introduced to several techniques for finding and applying the correct codes in today’s standard coding systems and job assumed include Medical Billing Specialist, Medical Coder, and/or Medical Office Manager

    EKG Technician
This program is designed to give the student an understanding of the basic anatomy (structure) and physiology (function) of the heart and a case-based approach to EKG interpretation. The ECG/EKG Technician program teaches students the basics of an EKG. Students learn the heart’s electrical conduction system as well as it’s structure and function.
